The staff was pleasant, in a very good location, had a satisfactory breakfast. Great place for overnight stay. Besides, royal armouries is 5 minutes' drive away.
Friendliness of staff was excellent, went out of their way to be helpfull. Location of hotel for city centre was very good.
Cost of breakfast was a little high for what it was.
Ease of access to local shopping and routes
On the stairs the carpet is worn
Friendly staff, great location and clean room made for an enjoyable stay. I would definitely use again on a night in Leeds.
The only downside was an unpleasant, musty odour in the bathroom.
Nice breakfast. Staff helpful. All areas very clean. A good place to stay if having a weekend shopping/socialising.
Single rooms too small, really poky. I had to pay £10 to change to a double room but worth it. Decor a bit tired.
I had been at an all day festival so my stay at the hotel was very much just a bed for the night so used minimal facilities. It was clean however and served my needs.
I really noticed the easy friendliness of the staff & management. They were always available if required but not obtrusive.
I thought that the staff were all (without exception) friendly, pleasant, approachable and very helpful. The room was adequate and comfortable, with an impressively powerful shower. The breakfast was buffet style and adequate.
The wifi was a charged extra.....I Would have expected it to be free given the standard of the hotel etc.
I liked the friendliness of the staff and being very helpful. my pardner and I really enjoyed our Breakfast and complimented the chef for the way he had cooked her poached egg, it was the best she had ever tasted. Overall we enjoyed our stay and a big thank you to Stuart.
how close it was to every where, and very clean, rooms clean on sunday as well.
At first from the outside the hotel looked a bit old and run down but dont judge a book by its cover, as you get inside you seem to realise yes although it is not a new building or a new hotel it has a warm and homely feel to it. The staff are very welcoming and upon arrival I got a free upgrade, I had a lounge area and seperate bedroom with televisions in each room (was a bonus I didnt have to watch the soaps with the missus). All in all was a nice weekend break right in the city centre, 3mins away from coach station and a nice hotel, would stay again.
Only thing that was missing was a mini fridge or mini bar in the room I was staying in
I booked this hotel because of its proximity to Leeds General Infirmary. My stay was for one night prior to admission to hospital. The room was clean and comfortable.
The television would not turn on although I tried all the usual things. Perhaps a blown fuse in the plug? The small kettle had a faulty/loose switch and had a sticker saying it was due for retesting in 2006! I didn`t complain to reception as my stay was for only one night and I wasmore concerned about the forthcoming hospital stay.
The location was fantastic - as was the actual hotel - building and room was great - large, clean and fresh. The fabric of the hotel was quite worn - obviously see better days!
The dining room was quite cold atmospherically; the food was very uninspired.
No free Internet access. I bought access for 3 days from the company called "Sereninternet" and I did not get any username or password and my 9.99£ was taken from my account and no service was provided!!
Heating did not work and window had large draft.
